Having been through the analog era to the rapid digitization of all processes of music making, AYM believes good mastering relies as much on cutting edge technology as on how it is cleanly applied to the natural properties of sound, and above all, the ears of concerned and active listeners.

AYM has therefore chosen to design its studio space with the following principles in mind:
1. clients sit directly, intimately and comfortably to the monitors;
2. clients freely immerse themselves in the soundscape, without being distracted by the technicalities the mastering engineer handles on his desk;
3. clients’ listening experience is the priority of AYM, not the display of his individual gears and hand tricks.
